- Are these real addresses?
- Yes. They're a random sample of address points that public agencies in Spain publish as open data, collected by the OpenAddresses project. Postcodes are checked against their region. Map autocomplete services like Google use their own data, so a few addresses may not show up there, especially new or rural ones.
- Why are big cities more common?
- Addresses are sampled in proportion to how many exist, so a large city shows up far more often than a rural area.
- Can I use them for deliveries or sign-ups?
- No. These are other people's homes and businesses. Use them to test address forms, maps and data pipelines, never to impersonate anyone or send anything.
- My address is listed. Can you remove it?
- Yes. See the privacy page for how to request removal.
