- Where do the names come from?
- They come from a hand-compiled list of common first names and surnames in Spain, weighted by how common each one is.
- How is gender decided?
- Names come from separate female and male lists. Choosing “Any” picks one of the two lists at random for each name.
- Why do some names look old-fashioned?
- The lists cover several generations of people alive today, not just recent baby names.
